John ScribanteJOHN SCRIBANTE

Chief Executive Officer

John Scribante was named Orion Energy Systems’ CEO in September 2012. Previously as President of Orion Engineered Systems, John grew the division into a multi-million dollar operation, contracting solar photovoltaic and wind-based advanced energy system projects worth more than $88 million in its first three years. Prior to his highly successful work building Orion Engineered Systems, John served as Orion Energy Systems’ Senior Vice President of Business Development from 2007-2009. From 2004-2007, he was Orion’s Vice President of Sales during a time of the company’s rapid growth. John has built strong relationships with many national customers and resale partners who now employ Orion’s products and technology across hundreds of facilities.

Prior to joining Orion, John co-founded Xe Energy LLC as Orion’s first ESCO reseller and served as its CEO from 2003-2004. He served as CEO of Innovize, LLC from 1996 to 2003 until its sale to Baker Tilly, LLC; served as Sales Manager for OPM Information Systems from 1992 to 1996; and Regional Sales for Vital Learning Corp from 1989 to 1992.

John earned a BS in Finance in 1989, with an emphasis on Economics, from Creighton University.

Since 1996, John has been a member of the Council for National Policy based in Washington, D.C. and has continuously served on the Senior Executive Committee since 1998 where he holds the position of Finance Committee Chairman. John has been a featured speaker at the Corporate Board Member Chairman & CEO Peer Forum held at the New York Stock Exchange, providing insights into the role of the CEO/Chairman team in evolving boardrooms.

 Bill HullBILL HULL

Chief Financial Officer

Bill was named Orion Energy Systems’ CFO in October 2015. Prior to joining Orion, Bill was with RTI International Metals, an NYSE listed, vertically integrated global supplier of advanced titanium and specialty metal mill products and components serving the aerospace, defense, medical, industrial, and energy industries since 2005. There he served in various roles; Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer since July 2014, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since April 2007, and Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer since August 2005. Prior to joining RTI, Mr. Hull served as Corporate Controller of Stoneridge, Inc., an NYSE listed global designer and manufacturer of highly engineered electrical and electronic components, modules and systems for the commercial vehicle, automotive, agricultural and off-highway vehicle markets, where he was employed since 1986.

Bill received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Youngstown State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

 

Mike PottsMIKE POTTS

Chief Risk Officer and Executive Vice President

Mike Potts has served as a Director since 2001. He joined Orion as Vice President of Technical Services, also in 2001. Prior to being appointed President and COO in 2010, he held the position of Vice President of Technical Services and Governmental Affairs, and in 2003 was promoted to Executive Vice President.  His responsibilities included strategic direction on energy issues, technical oversight and compliance, engineering, research and development, and both state and federal legislative and regulatory affairs.

Prior to joining Orion, Mike was employed by Kohler Co., one of the world’s largest manufacturers of plumbing products. From 1990 through 1999 he held the position of Supervising Engineer – Energy in Kohler’s energy and utilities department. In 2000, Mike became supervisor of the Energy Management Group, presiding over Kohler’s entire corporate energy portfolio, as well as General Manager of its natural gas subsidiary. Mike is a recognized expert in energy issues, and has often testified before state and federal regulatory bodies regarding energy related issues. He is also a licensed professional engineer in the state of Wisconsin.

Mike earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and a BA in Business Administration from Lakeland College. He served on the Board of Lakeland College from 2010 – 2012.

Marc MeadeMARC MEADE

Executive Vice President

Marc Meade has served as Executive Vice President since 2014.  Prior to his appointment as Executive Vice President, Marc most recently served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations with responsibility for operations management, corporate financial management, and project finance management. Since joining Orion in 2009, Marc has held various positions with increasing responsibility including Director of Business Development for Orion Energy Systems, Finance and Taxation Manager for Orion Engineered Systems, and Vice President of Finance and Operations for Orion Asset Management.

Prior to joining Orion, Marc worked with Schenck Business Solutions, a large Wisconsin-based accounting firm, in the governmental accounting department, and served as retail division manager for a large agricultural cooperative.

Marc received his Bachelor of Arts, Accounting with Taxation emphasis, from Lakeland College.

Scott GreenSCOTT GREEN

Executive Vice President

Scott Green was named Executive Vice President of Orion Energy Systems in August of 2016 to oversee sales, product innovation, project engineering, and construction services.

Scott served as Orion’s Division President of Innovation, Project Engineering, and Construction Management from July 2015 to August 2016 and as Division President of Orion Engineered Systems from February 2014 to July 2015. He joined Orion Energy Systems when Orion acquired Harris Lighting in July of 2013 and served as Orion’s Division President of Harris Lighting from July 2013 to February 2014.

Prior to joining Orion, Scott served as Executive Vice President of Harris Manufacturing and Harris LED and as CEO of Harris Manufacturing from 1997 to July of 2013. From 1983 to 2002, Scott served as CEO of Green Enterprises, Inc. a company that owned and operated real estate brokerage offices as well as multiple real estate developments. From 1989 to 1993, he served as CEO of Restaurants of Southeastern Michigan, Inc., which operated a chain of restaurants in southeastern Michigan. He has also owned and operated various businesses in the real estate, agriculture, manufacturing, and retail sectors over the past 35 years.

Scott has served on several Boards including the Clinton Health Foundation, Central Bank and Trust of Michigan, and other community owned and operated enterprises.

Scott earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Central Michigan University.
